Our blacksmiths create hand made wrought iron items at their forge and anvil in a manner faithful to this age old craft.
The word blacksmith originates from old English combining the words black and smith.
The word "black" came from the material used, which was then know as black iron, and smith came from "smite" which means to hit. Thus one who formed black iron with the smite of a hammer was a blacksmith..
Our blacksmiths use the traditional skills of the past and modern blacksmithing techniques of the present to produce beautifully crafted iron work which will remain functional for many years to come.
Our finish is a wax sealer. In addition to this sealer, our bathroom items are given a durable transparent poly-urethane finish, and our exterior iron work is protected with a rust resistant paint.
